Reference: TQ2526_2136_495Vacancy: 1Job title: Full Stack DeveloperLocation: LeicesterJob PurposeTESTQ Technologies is an IT services and solutions company whose offerings span a variety of industry sectors with strong technical, domain, and process expertise, helping clients grow their businesses and decrease operational costs on a continuous basis in an ever-changing business environment.This opportunity is in the solution design and development space for a Full Stack Developer who will design, build, and maintain modern, cloud-native web applications end to end — from front-end UI through back-end services, APIs, and data layers — while working closely with management to prioritize business and product needs.Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities)Design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product managers, to gather requirements and create user-friendly solutions.Work with development teams and product managers to ideate, scope, and deliver software solutions.Develop and manage well-functioning, performant databases and APIs.Own the software development process end to end, from conception through deployment and post-release support.Manage the full lifecycle of software and application development, including CI/CD pipelines and release management.Oversee and direct the evaluation, creation, and implementation of software architecture and technical solutions.Drive automated testing strategy (unit, integration, and end-to-end) and provide input as projects are developed.Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues across the stack, including performance and scalability bottlenecks.Build features and applications with mobile-responsive, accessible design.Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed[The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related field.Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role.Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript/JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Redux/Zustand, Angular, or Vue.js.Solid CSS/UI tooling experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Sass, Webpack, Vite, and Babel.Back-end development experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS), Python (FastAPI/Django), Java (Spring Boot), or PHP (Laravel).Strong experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis) and data modeling.Solid understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven design (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and serverless architectures (Lambda, Azure Functions, Cloud Functions).Proficiency with version control and CI/CD tooling: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI.Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.Working knowledge of AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) and integrating LLM/AI APIs into applications is a plus.Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, New Relic) is a plus.Other Key SkillsGood analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills.A thorough approach and self-starter mindset.Focus on quality and delivery.Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.Leadership and effective decision-making.Flexible attitude.Excellent customer service orientation.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or above in the UK or equivalent.Salary: GBP 34,500 to GBP 41,200 per annumPublished Date: 01 October 2026Closing Date: 30 October 2026Evaluation: CV Review, Technical Test, Personal and Technical Interview, and ReferencesJob Type: Full-time, Permanent [Part time and Fixed Term option is available]Pay: £34,500.00-£41,200.00 per yearWork Location: Remote
