Senior Full Stack Developer

IFGlobal works with ecommerce brands across the UK, Europe, and the US, helping them manage fulfilment across multiple sales channels including Shopify, Amazon, eBay, WooCommerce, and retail.Our internal platform, BladePRO, powers the operation behind the scenes. It handles everything from order routing and warehouse workflows to stock management, reporting, integrations, and customer tools.Because the platform is built and maintained in-house, engineers here have real influence over how things are designed and improved. There's plenty of scope to shape systems, contribute ideas, and work on problems that are more interesting than standard feature delivery.The roleYou'll work across both backend and frontend development, helping us improve and expand the platform as the business grows.The work is varied and often quite complex. You could be working on real-time inventory syncing between warehouses, improving integrations with couriers and marketplaces, building internal operational tools, or helping scale systems during peak trading periods.We're looking for someone who's comfortable taking ownership, contributing to technical discussions, and working closely with the wider team to deliver reliable software.You'll also support mid-level and junior developers through code reviews and day-to-day collaboration.What you'll be doingBuilding and maintaining features across our Laravel backend and Angular/TypeScript frontendTaking ownership of work from planning through to deployment and supportWorking on integration-heavy systems with real operational complexityCollaborating with product, operations, and data teams to solve practical problemsReviewing code and contributing to engineering standards across the teamMentoring and supporting other developersImproving testing, deployment processes, monitoring, and platform reliabilityContributing to architecture discussions and technical documentationWhat we're looking forEssentialAround 7+ years of commercial software engineering experienceStrong experience with PHP and LaravelStrong frontend experience using Angular and TypeScriptSolid understanding of modern JavaScript developmentExperience designing and working with REST APIsGood understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQLExperience working on systems with complexity around integrations, concurrency, or large volumes of dataComfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPrevious experience mentoring or supporting other developersDesirableExperience with GoExperience with Google Cloud PlatformBackground in ecommerce, logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain systemsExperience with event-driven systems or message queuesTech stackBackend: PHP (Laravel), Node.js, GoFrontend: Angular, TypeScript, Electron, PWAsData: MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, BigQueryInfrastructure: GCP, Kubernetes, Cloud Pub/SubMonitoring & Analytics: New Relic, PostHogHybrid Work SetupWe work in a hybrid setup with two days per week in our Bournemouth office.
