Senior Web Developer (Fully Remote)

Click Intelligence specialise in SEO, our agency has grown rapidly over the last 13 years and is founded on great account management and great SEO results for our clients.In order to help the growth of the business progress even further, we are recruiting for a senior web developer to join our SEO agency to lead our web development team. You will be managing one junior web developer team member and potentially additional external web developers when we need additional bandwidth.Over the last few years, we have built our own internal systems and tools to assist our team and clients to streamline our workflow and produce great results for our clients. We have also developed and launched our own SEO reporting software (SaaS) which has been developed for our managed SEO clients and for external customers. We have also started to offer web design, web development and website management/maintenance services for our clients.Your role will be to maintain and progress the existing internal systems, SEO reporting software SaaS and client web design and web development projects.You must be capable of generally working alone and leading a small team of web developers, though support and assistance is available through our senior management team.If you have an appetite for projects that ‘make a difference' and want to take ownership of existing technology and work on client projects, this role could be for you.What we need from you:Ability to bring product specifications to lifeAbility to define a plan and stick to itTo take ownership of problems with a determination to solve themTo not be afraid of learning new things outside of your comfort zoneTo lead the company on standards and best practicesTo identify risks and challenges, then mitigate themSkills and knowledge:Experience with MVC frameworks (Laravel)Experience with CMS's (wordpress, magento, shopify etc)Experience with using AI and LLM's to speed up output and utilize for project buildout (front-end and back-end development)Experience with front end design and development (wordpress theme development etc)Experience with Database DesignFront-end Development Skills (HTML, CSS, JS, tailwind)Knowledge of APIs - such as XERO, Stripe, PayPal, Ahrefs, MailGun and more advantageExperience with Cloud Storage and server managementKnowledge of JS frameworks (Node.js, React, vue etc)Great communication skills (internal and external)Working knowledge of how to develop SEO friendly websitesNote: You will be taking on the management of various internal systems, and the tech-stack has already been implemented, however, the management team is open for suggestions on future proof improvements.Desired Experience6+ years commercial web development experience (ideally agency side)Previous ‘project ownership' experienceWhat you'll get from us:Support to deliver the solutionPraise for delivering projectsFull support from management teamInstant gratification of watching your solution get used by our teams and clientsWhatever tech and software you need to deliver the agreed planFully remote working25 days holidayAnnual bonusJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per yearWork Location: Remote
