We offer a range of edtech services to support apprenticeships including an End-Point Assessment platform to streamline the EPA process in England and Apprenticeship certification functions in Scotland and Wales.</p><p>

We operate primarily remotely, with quarterly visits to our Edinburgh office for planning and team activities. We are also currently trialling a 4 day working week, reflecting our commitment to wellbeing and work life balance. About the Role:</b></p><p>

We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will work closely with the Team Lead and wider Development team to support day to day development activities, contribute to new and existing projects, and provide technical assistance to end users.</p><p>

Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>

Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications in line with specified requirements.</li><li>

Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.</li><li>

Carry out testing activities, including functional and regression testing.</li><li>

Write and maintain technical documentation.</li><li>

Assist with team planning, estimation, and discovery activities.</li><li>

Handle support tickets and provide timely end user support.</li><li>

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues.</li><li>

Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and practices.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

Skills &amp; Experience Required:</b></p><ul><li>

PHP</li><li>

HTML, CSS, JavaScript</li><li>

Laravel</li><li>

Vue.js</li><li>

MySQL</li><li>

Basic Linux server usage</li><li>

Competent with Git</li><li>

Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail</li><li>

Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team</li><li>

Good communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>

Exposure to Docker</li><li>
