You will contribute to building and maintaining applications that power the companie's internal systems and client solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Development (PHP / Laravel / CodeIgniter)Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Laravel and CodeIgniter.Build clean, maintainable backend code and reusable components.Implement secure and scalable REST APIs for internal and client-facing systems.Database & Reporting (SQL Server / SSRS)Develop, optimise, and maintain MS SQL Server databases (SQL Server 2020).Write efficient stored procedures, functions, queries, and triggers.Build and manage dynamic reports and dashboards using SSRS.Mobile Development (Flutter)Develop high-quality cross‑platform mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.Integrate mobile apps with backend APIs and external services.Collaborate with the design team to deliver smooth, intuitive mobile user experiences.Collaboration & SupportWork closely with project managers, designers, and other engineers across the company.Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and sprint discussions.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.Contribute to improving development processes, tools, and standards.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with PHP, particularly Laravel and CodeIgniter.Solid understanding of SQL Server 2020 and database optimisation best practices.Experience creating and managing reports with SSRS.Proven track record of building and deploying Flutter mobile applications.Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and integration patterns.Familiarity with Git, Jira and PHPStorm or similar version control systems.Strong debugging and problem‑solving ability.Desirable SkillsExposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Private Cloud or similar).Experience with DevOps workflows or CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or JS frameworks).Understanding of microservices, containerisation, or modern application architecture.EducationDegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.Why Join our company?Opportunity to work on innovative technology projects across multiple industries.A collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented work culture.Competitive salary and benefits package.Professional development and career progression opportunities.SalaryFrom £45K per annum subject to skills and experience.Job Type: Full-timePay: From £45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company pensionWork Location: In person
