<p>At Salespoint we develop bespoke systems for national membership and training organisations.</p><p>We create the integrated website and back office solutions that our clients rely on to control and manage their business processes. This includes customer relationship management, content management, payment collection, fulfilment and integration with third party services.</p><p>This is a new role to join our Lead Developer and PHP / JavaScript team, working with bespoke PHP and Laravel frameworks.</p><p>You will have a minimum of 2-3 years proven expertise in:</p><ul><li>PHP</li><li>JavaScript</li><li>Laravel</li><li>HTML / CSS</li><li>SQL</li><li>API development</li></ul><p>You will also be directly involved with:</p><ul><li>Managing code repositories &amp; IIS localhost environments</li><li>Code deployment to IIS staging &amp; production environments</li><li>Business Analysis</li><li>Implementation Specification</li><li>Ensuring that Coding standards are maintained</li><li>QA Testing</li></ul><p>You will also be familiar with many of the following:</p><ul><li>OO Programming</li><li>Coding for responsive design</li><li>UI &amp; UX best practices</li><li>SCSS</li><li>iOS / Android App development</li><li>AJAX</li><li>REST APIs</li><li>Webhooks</li><li>T-SQL / SSMS / PostgreSQL</li><li>IIS &amp; Windows Virtual Servers</li><li>Node.js</li><li>Experience of payment systems (eg. Stripe, BACS)</li><li>Bitbucket / Github</li><li>VS Code</li><li>Agile working, Jira, Confluence documentation</li></ul><p>We are planning some migrations from MSSQL to PostgreSQL, familiarity with both would be an advantage</p><p>You will also be able to communicate effectively within the team and with client BAs and stakeholders, supporting our Lead Developer to ensure smooth development and deployment.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to be closely involved in all elements of system development for a multi service platform.
